For Twitch's Return-To-Office week (RTO), Workplace organized a fun team-building event where staff could work together on a LEGO mural. We wanted to create an community based artwork with an outdoorsy theme and game references. After brainstorming, we decided on a pixel art design featuring iconic Nintendo characters like Pikachu, Mario, and Link in forest landscapes, all within the Twitch logo on a background with a forest and mountain.
To bring our vision to life, we worked with a third-party to source the 86,400 LEGO pieces in various colors. During the event, everyone had the freedom to build at their own pace using grid set references for color and placement. It was a creative and collaborative experience that highlighted Twitch’s internal community as we crafted the mural together.
This mural now hangs next to the main building elevator lobby on the first all internal floor.
